🇪🇺 “Variations in the Rhythm of Waves” is a travelling exhibition consisting of four newly produced artworks, which have their origin in the explorations and research initiated by the 4 international artists during the second edition of the Off Season Artist Residency. Abi Shehu, Enric Fort Ballaster, Jasmina Al-Qaisi, and Lori Lako explore the patterns and tensions between nature, tradition, and commerce along Albania’s coast. Their works reference the cyclic rhythms of bird migrations, waves, seashore customs, rituals, and local narratives while also revealing the disruptive impact of human activity on coastal ecosystems.
